Red Baiters Prologue introduces The Reds and Greys project in a time-bending theatrical environment contrasting the swashbuckling 18th century with the blight of economic depression or post-apocalyptic times. Revolutions echo down the years, philosophers extol the dignity of work, and everybody wants riches and leisure. How do we cope?

Red Baiters Act 1 introduces the Greys. Lily the cleaning lady goes undercover at the Reds palace. We see the gulf between the life of the Reds and the Greys.

At the Palace Act 2 of the Red Baiters series is a look at how the Reds live. Vaneeta enjoys her mirror, Dandy enjoys himself and the Judge enjoys Vaneeta. The servants are for their pleasure. Set in a time-bending fantasy world, the Reds and Greys are timeless.

In Red Baiters Act 3 the Greys struggle for survival, while the Reds’ Bully Boys heavy and violent presence is evident. The Red balloonist sails over it all, giving a bird’s eye view as Lily escapes. This time bending fantasy shows the connections between the Reds and Greys. Shot mostly in black and white, it is a sobering look at power.

Grey Days reflects a sci-fi society that has grave disparities. The eighteenth century garbed Reds have power and lovely palaces. The humble Greys work in the service of the Reds, but some are engaged in fighting back. The Horse-headed martial vizier of the Reds rains down lightning on the Greys. The Greys’ resistance leader, Wolf-man, doesn’t shrink from violence. The Reds’ bully boys intimidate the populace. The cycle of violence is repeated over and over. What and where is Justice?

The narrative is ambiguous as the video is made with the intent of both reflecting reality and challenging it. The distressed and stylized film look echoes the emotional content.

The Baiters Puppets star in this video featuring the Reds and Greys. The rich noble wants to get richer, the wily servants think to trick him, the wild card is the ghost!

The kinetic clock and accordion book of eight lyrics corresponds to the eight figures that circle round the clock. The Red and Grey go round and round. The working of the clock is demonstrated in the video.
